Is SOW the streets of willowspring? Can anyone show up to be a spectator? I'd really like to check out a track day some time.

There are two tracks at Willow...the big one (AMA) and the small one....most track days are held on the small one. Shouldn't be any problem going out and spectating, but getting access to the field for taking photos will probably not be allowed for insurance reasons. Plus a lot of the track days there will already be hired photographer there shooting for the riders. Just bring a nice long lens, introduce yourself, and make friends.

SOW is Streets of Willow, it's one of three tracks at Willow Springs; 1) Main Track aka Big Track, 2) SOW and 3) Horse Thief Mile aka HTM.

I ride my KTM 525 SMR there and have a ball zapping sport bikers in the turns. I duked it out with a guy on a Duc Desmosedici RR ($80K bike) last year, and he left the track after 3 laps of getting spanked/zapped by a "dirt bike" (tard)!

Yes, anyone can spectate, but be prepared to get hit with a $10 gate fee, and bring some shade, sun screen and a cooler!

If it makes you feel better it's the first one I think of when I lust after a XC.

Only have to take 20-30 pounds off your XC and I think you're there.

Who's bike are you callin' shiny??

The only thing that's still shiny on mine is the new Woody's front wheel that I still have to install.

Don't forget the battery wire. Have you fixed that yet? Ben
