Thanks for all the awesome pictures, Joel! It was fun hiding behind the bushes, watching you go by and throwing mud balls at you.

There is nothing better than over priced tacos on the California coast.

Thanks Mario,

It was nice to meet you and your gang as well. It would have been nice to ride with you guys a little, instead of just watch you fly by flipping Joel off at each section. Maybe next year I'll be able to ride a little closer to your level.

The Dual Dogs tip definitely looks like a great one, but I think I've already got a ride planned for that weekend. Sequoia is amazing, and I could just imagine the single track up there. However, it would be hard to beat what we just rode for me, as I am quite partial to the landscape of the central coast. I'm glad that a few of the Joel's pictures were representative of just how green it was up there. Since you live there, it's probably somewhat common to you by now. Nonetheless, I would love to do the Sequoia ride in the future just to make sure.

Last time I did this was in 1999 with my vintage 1980 Yamaha IT250 and it was just spectacular. Sadly, this event ceased to exist for a while, but apparently Damon is bringing it back!!!

Haven't been riding too much up here, (it's wet and I'm a woosie) I sure do miss all you FF's! Except Eric, he's homolariaous.

Don't hate the bear, hate big game. And if you're feeling woosie, sit down or hang on to something or you may fall over, you big wussie.

One of the Penguins told me that there were over 300 people registered. Don't think there were nearly that many.

One more shot of the best picnic I've ever been to.

Jim, apparently riding with caution streamers.

I got one action shot of the race leader.

Sad to be done with the ride but happy to get some fresh mud to cover up some of my scratches.
