I HATE mine. I'll sell it cheap if any of you FF's wanna make me an offer.

I just got a new one from Garmin (it's refurbed) I decided to try it so it's been used 1 day. I still hate it, so it's gonna get gone.

I'll include the ram cradle for it, and I gotta see if I can find the car mount which I mighta lost.

M/C rider licensing question ?

The daughter's boyfriend and I are heading up to ride the Sawmill Ridge and Tule area...

Is it required to have a M/C license endorsement to ride the National Forest fire roads? Some areas are clearly marked registered vehicles only, but I don't think these roads are. Does that mean red stickers are ok for the bike and no license for the rider?

Of course my bikes are registered, but with all the work the b/f put in to become a firefighter/paramedic/firetruck driving license requirements, the good old M-1 endorsement has slipped by the wayside...

What say the ADV legal community?

We'll probably lunch at the Rock Inn, so if anyone is riding this area today, stop by and say HI!

Perfect.

....that said, there are many dirtbike dirtbags that are guilty of 'trail abuse', especially up here west of hell.

Were the three arrested part of the ADV group?

no, but i know some of the ADV folks ride out there.
i know we don't do that stupid shit, but the cops are out looking.
and i hear they are planning(or already) do that near Big Bear.

here's where i first saw this posted....

http://ktmtalk.com/index.php?showtopic=384770

if you read all the pages on that thread, it says that charges were dropped because the cops got the wrong guys and just "grabbed" three dirtbikers.

this would another good reason to have SPOT.
you could prove where you've been.

just curious.....

why did you "quote" my phrase "i make no apologies"???

i started off the post with that because i've had some people taking count on how many posts and where posts were by me, and i feel that that story is something we ALL need to know about. even if you don't ride that specific area.
