The popular riding spots may be pretty sketchy this (long) weekend for sure.

i've been to gorman 3x for the last year and half...3 of 3, the place was empty. but that's on a weekend.

gorman will be crowded and drunks riding around...... anyone there lately on a holiday weekend?

i know the situation, if i go to gorman, the plan is to stay on 1 spot, the little hill off gold hill and just work on some hill climbing excercises. then look for some deep sand in the wide open area so i can see who are in it.

If you guys go to Gorman, I may end up hooking up. I gotta get some XR seat time in preparation for the two-day Sequoia Scenic Challenge Dual Sport.

I'm a maybe, I may take the Vette for a long drive Sat, and ride the Husky to Nukes on Sun.

I stay away from Gorman on Holiday weekends, just too many crazies out there!

I used to do Search and Rescue up there on Memorial and Labor days.

You really want to skip these weekends. You are going to run into, literally, guys drinking all day and riding crazy. They will run you over and keep going. They don't know how to ride and they think that because they own quads they rule the road.

If you really have to go, get there early ride for a bit and get out quick. Watch your back.

Good luck!
