greatator, you're the man, first post and already looking for a ride.....

you're welcome to come along. let us know your skill level so we don't suck you in to the wrong ride or group.

our regular local ride is mostly north of los angeles...rowher, tule, and lake elizabeth. we meet at the 7 eleven on osborne/sunburst in sylmar.

there are times we ride elsewhere, can't go to rowher every weekend...

we are very active and ride at least 2x a month. keep an eye on this thread.

cheers....

Nice, but the TE450 is more to my liking.

you guys should do rowher while there's still a lot of green. good time to recon the trails and be familiar for the july 24th full moon ride.

We had lunch in Alta Sierra. Very tasty burgers. It's where Rancheria Rd hits the 155.

If you go that far, may as well head up to Big Bear and cruise around.

What altitude did you jet for and what day, Sat or Sun?

Bob, still don't know where I'll be this weekend.
There will be some extra traffic in the area.

i only have sat morning to ride. similar carb set up bogged down at 9K ft., so i'm moving the clip 1 notch up.

i suppose no part of rancheria would be "impossible" for 2 up riding, but some of the turns are downhill, tight cornered, and some are blind with oncoming traffic, especially when you get close to the alta sierra area.

i'd do it, just be careful.

What pilot and main jets are you running?

What altitude did you jet for? Did you use a jetting nomograph for the FCR?

Also, how many turns out on the mixture screw?

And when does it bog, ie what throttle position?
