i have to disagree with you.... any day on the bike will be $$$ during the summer i go sailing 2-3/ week no $$$ weekend in Catalina $8 diesel and $25 for mooring.... motorcycle weekend $35 and up... this is not including the tranquility on the water = priceless

in any case i will continue riding, sailing, surfing, eating candy and many other thing as long as i can

but i will not ride tard!

We all piss our $ away on something, as long as you enjoy it, more power to you. I enjoy my biking the most, that's why I'm planning on #6 and maybe #7, after I figure out how to squeeze them into the garage.

I've tried boating, it just doesn't do anything for me, I can get tranquility sitting on top of a mtn after a nice ride up a trail.

I hear that all the time about tards, but after one ride, it's amazing how many people get bitten by the bug. If you don't try it, how will you ever know if you like it or not?

Money pits come In many forms.... I cringe when I look At the money I have in my toy box.but jeeps have trumped all on my books , boat not asmuch but bikes are solid second place. Med costs( to my HMO) strong third

Just don't buy anything that flies. That's the biggest hole you can throw money into.

I had a boat that I only used a few times a year. It was just taking up space in my yard. I almost gave that thing away when I sold it. I was so happy when it was gone. I have a jet ski still that I traded for a quad a few years ago. That thing only got used 3 time last year. I loaned it out so I didn't even use it. The problem with boat and ski's it take to much trouble to get to use them. The bike I can just jump on and head out. To me a bike is a cheap vacation that I can take ever Sunday. Ben

Bikes have been and will always be my first love..... bikes are so diverse they all do different things well... Its easy to get addicted
