Early June Conditions? -- two scenic byways in Northern CO.

I'm planning a road-trip this summer in the cage with the kids up to Glacier National Park. Originally I was going to faithfully replicate my Great Divide ride from last summer (sticking to the non-technical stuff), but now I'm eyeing heading west through northern Colorado and then picking up the GDMBR route near Atlantic City, WY.

We'll be leaving the first weekend in June and I was hoping someone here could tell me if the following two scenic byways should be snow-free by then. I'm not sure of their elevation:

1. the Colorado River Headwaters, which is Road 1 between Kremmling and State Bridge.

2. Flat Tops Trail between Yampa and Meeker (over Ripple Creek Pass).

Thanks!

The Trough Road, as it's called between Kremmling & State Bridge is a well-maintained road year-round. I've driven it every month of the year. Don't know about Ripple Creek Pass (sorry).

Thanks for the quick replies guys, and the good information.

I'll plan to call the USFS a week or so before to inquire about the status of the Flat Tops trail.
