If you read through the thread, look at some of the photos, and check out the link on the first post for the 2011 camp out you'll get a feel for what the Frolic In The Forest is.

But to try and answer your question, no this is not an off road event. All riding is on US Forest Service or County and State roads. Your bike needs to have a plate. Most of the FS and County roads are dirt/gravel, some of them can be very rough and rocky.

The campground is in the middle of one of the most scenic areas in West Virginia.

You'll meet some of the finest ADVer's in 4 or 5 states. The camaraderie can't be beat.

Well, I can tell you there will be few BC DS'ers at Johnny Rad's on Eastern tomorrow around 7-8...It has been like an unofficial bike night with some serious gear heads in attendance. So, since snow did not get us, ride your dual sport down. Or drive, some do, but they get made fun of.

He guys, I live in Baltimore, and would loev to join in on some of your rides.

I ride a 1978 yamaha xt500.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me (or better yet, link me to a map) where the trails are that you ride in or around Bmore county?

A Conawingo trail and a Perryville trail were mentioned earlier in the thread, and I would love to ride them...

Where is the old MX track?

Do you know any good trails in the hunt valley area?

Mx track/Trails in Hunt vally.

Haven't been on here for a while. The track and trails are on privet property. How ever i still hit the trails every now and then. The one trail is off of international cir. Go up to the tall brick office buildings and go around back you will see a pipeline area there that has some trails but be carefull it is posted. The track and other trails are off of sparks vally rd or also the back of lovton cir. The track use to be the practice track for a class a gncc rider. Can't remeber his name. The property was taken by the gov so i here. Again be carefull i only go on sundays when ther is less people around. I get in ride for a bit then head out.
