Caycek, next Saturday should be completely clear for me, so just keep us informed.

The wife has spoken with the other girl who rides to Charleston with her last night. Dinner Saturday would be best, they get out of class at 6:30pm (possibly earlier). So the questions are what time do you guys want to get together to ride and where are we meeting at?

You'd probably like the fire safety roads in the Francis Marion forest, lots of gravel, some sand. We could ride up there and around for a bit, and I would say finish the evening out in Mount Pleasant, but don't know what is available for a vegetarian palate. I'll look more into food options later this evening.

So others won't be excluded by a night added, this Saturday is in addition to the normal 2nd Wednesday of the month, which is a week from today. That is still on, and I suggest Vickery's or Red's on Shem Creek.

Someone decide a time and place. I'm guessing you are coming down at whatever time?

Do you mean no naps for scooty/sleepy puff?

I don't think that Jose is going to join us so we should go and tear up his front lawn with our bikes, that's my suggestion. I'd say that we could meet at my house but it would probably end up being a tag. I'll give it another day before putting my $.02 in.

That sounds like a good idea for jose's home.. I would prefer if scooty puff didn't take a nap.

Your house would be safe from tagging, at least from me. I tagged draechon's parents house before I even met him. As it seems the only people who would see that tag would be us as it seems as if the state game is dead or taking a long nap.

Don't be whiney. Your tag sat for barely a day. Kalonji's sat for almost 2 weeks before your salvage run. We could meet at my house and people could take a look at the XT and through a collective conscious of you more mechanically inclined folks, maybe we'll be able to solve its issue.

So what time?
I don't know why I haven't come down before when Lindsay goes for orientation, she goes every semester. Perhaps next time Jose and are you planning another trip to Barber museum?

Not that it's crazy or anything. But maybe more fun than off ramps.
Toogoodoo road is the twistiest around, sad to say...it has 3 or 4 sets of S curves. Nice scenery, too. I run it all the time. Certainly more fun than the Hwy 78 on/off ramps from I26. Just be careful nonetheless. Overcooking any of those curves means a date with a tidal creek full off cement pilings, or Live Oaks that do not move when you hit them.

Actually, the best local road is Wilkinson Way:

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&sour...38581&t=h&z=15

Unfortunately for many of you, it's located on the Naval Weapons Station so unless you're former or current military or a DoD employee, it's not accessible. It joins the original northern part of the Weapons Station with the south annex/former Army Depot. The other drawback is that it has a 35 MPH speed limit and is a favorite lurking place for the Weapons Station police.

Thanks draechon and kalonji for hanging out and going riding yesterday. It was a lovely day to be out and about. kalonji it was really cool meeting your friend I was telling Lindsay all about him when we got home last night. If anyone was wondering draechon looks dead sexy in leather pants with his shirt sleeves rolled up.:ymca Sorry no photos of that, it is better that way trust me.

fox102, kalonji said you would appreciate these photos. Coming back from the tag site where your bandit took a nap.

And in case you needed to see one more.

It was good seeing you guys, hopefully we can get together again soon to go riding some more.
