I was gathering a crew to hit Mall Drive Screening

Hey CHS ADV'ers,

I posted a thread and have a couple of peeps that were going to hit the mall drive screening. I'm always up for a longer ride and heading to Summerville will be just that.

Can we put together a group ride? Like meeting over on Rivers @ Andolinis?

Here's the thread:

Cheers,

Jason

Question Long Way Down movie event

Hi Guys -

OK, a bunch of folks are talking about seeing Long Way Down on Thursday night, so although it's not our regularly scheduled night for an ADV Dinner, how about meeting before the show for some food, and then maybe a beer or two afterwards?

That shopping center in Summerville that the movie is showing at has a couple of dinner options that I can think of, Moe's and some sort of Texas-style steakhouse. My vote would be for dinner at Moe's, it's inexpensive and family friendly (wife and kids are dining with me and seeing the movie), and you don't need to tell them what size table you want, so if we have some no-shows it still works. Maybe after the movie, that steakhouse would be a good place to have a beer. Any objections or other suggestions?

Regardless of where we eat, the show starts at 1930, and most of us working stiffs can't get to a restaurant until about 1800 or 1830, so proximity to the theater is an issue. What say y'all?

Rob

Moe's sounds OK to me. I'll probably try to get tickets at the door. If they're out I'll be OK.

tix for movie

My oldest son won't be able to join us at Long Way Down tomorrow night, so I have one extra ticket on hand now. If anyone wants it I'll sell it to you at the box office price (it's actually lower than what I paid that damned Fandango) when we get to the theatre tomorrow night. Speak up and it's yours.

and if he doesn't show, I'll take it. What did it cost you?

(N/M, buying mine now.

Still got to put my bike together tomorrow. I am taking off work, so may well get to work on it this eve when I get home, since I can sleep in if I'm up late tonight.

I'm gonna try to make it with a couple of guys from Badweb (Buell bulletin board). Hope to see some of you there.

The steakhouse is called Logan's ;there's also a Sticky Fingers right next door. Moe's works for me if that's the consensus.
