I went looking for this thread when I saw that bike on EBAy. Its sitting at $3995 but I'm sure the snipers will get in with 5 seconds left. If that bike was on the east coast I'd be awfully tempted. I'm guessing it will go over $5K.

I know it's not a 465 or 490, but I do have a 1980 IT 125. These were pretty rare, only had them here in the states for 2 years ('80/'81). Kind of a 3/4 sized bike. Basically based off the YZ100 with an older style YZ125 motor with different tuning. Lugs like a trials bike and weighs about as much. A very easy bike to ride too.

i need a diagram or photo of the wiring at battery and rear blinkers for 81 it465.i already have head light and front end sorted plus taillight..all wires and connecters are in place just unsure of fitup.thanks in advance for any replies..cheers dean

here she is the day i got her hadnt been started for 5 years or washed in 10...started after cleaning carb ,changing fuel and oil and plug on about the 10th kick ..now she starts and idles on about second..490 top end only a couple of hours old..not bad for $600aus i thought..have done much work since pics..will get some new pics soon...not riding it till she is up to my standard and rego,d..cheers dean ...btw thanx again dawid

Nice bike! I'm used to seeing the 465 in white. This one looks similar to a 490.

The '81s were white. The '82s were generally blue.

Now I gotto go work on the brakes.

I guess I need to sell my 83 IT 490 :(I never get to ride it and its a bit tall for me anyway. It was one of those spur of the moment buys that a 5' 7" tall guy should never do LOL!
