Rim

Anyone have a straight 21" rim they'd be willing to part with for KLR owner money?
I've got an old RM front end sans rim that I intend to put on the DR350.

Good luck on the program. We are all pulling for you. Last time we rode it was soaking wet and we went puddle spashing.... hope you're ready again soon.

FBM - maybe I should be the "old energizer bunny" since I just keep going on and on and on...

does rack up the posts though. Is there a contest or prize or something? Should I be concerned about the Post Nazi...

Heading for the mountains.

Not sure if anyone is game, but I'm doing a street ride up to Chehah and over to the smokies in October. A week of camping and twisties.

Dr. Phil,
I'd like to ride with you guys in the morning. Where is this Spec you speak of? I've heard it mentioned several times but haven't been there yet. Just let me know what time and where to meet. Lookin forward to it!

Ok O.C., go past Crestveiw on I-10 to next exit (285), and exit south towards Niceville. Spec pond is about 3miles or so on Left side of road. It kinda sneaks up on you so be ready at the bottom of a hill to turn fast. Somebody here has GPS location so post up if you got em. Im not that tech savy!!! Roll out at 7:45ish and just have a good 1 tank ride. See you in the AM

Or go to post #2 (hit last button and go one up) for info on all meeting places and GPS coords.

Spec is really fun. Still sandy in some places but losts of good stuff.

Question Dumb guy question.

...and what else is new?

OK - someone PM me OR reply here (cause maybe others would like to know too).

KTMs.

So, with these, by their nomenclature, how would one easily discern whether or not they are eyeballing or reading about a store-offered/bought street legal enduro?

If one were just curious or actually contemplating "taking the plunge" so to speak...

Like, for instance - Yesterday, I went to the official KTM site and was totally baffled. I THOUGHT that they offered a street legal 2 stroke. I could not figure out if there was one or wasn't. WTF?

Would someone please take the time to write down a little synopsis about these things? Like "OK fellers - if you are interested in a KTM, used or new, you should first note that the street legal ones always have the following letters in the model name - etc etc & blah blah blah"...

and

Something like "These were water cooled, but they did not come with radiator fans because XYZ..." and something like "Note, the LC series (whatever) engine was known for XYZ...

or does this sort of thing require the secret members-only handshake/jacket?
