S-12 For Sale

Hey all, I have a brand new Michelin S-12 (130/80-18 rear) sitting in my garage that I would like to get rid of. It's a tad too small for my five-hunny, but it would be just right for 250cc 2/4 stroke. Asking $50 if anyone is interested PM me with a phone number...

I don't always ride street bikes, but when I do I prefer VStroms

Reaching out here.

Some of you FF's may know me, others may not.

Life has been pretty rough for me over the last year and I've not been able to ride really at all. Big changes on my end, for the better, but not easy none the less. My decisions have led to me and little sperz1 ( 8 year old james ) to be solo with each other. I'm posting to see if anyone has any reliable babysisters in the Pensacola area. I work full time and am a graduate student studying plant ecology at UWF. This pretty much means I work my ass off and have really no network of people that would be able to help me out watching my son. My life has been that of a transient over the last 10 years picking up and moving with no real place to call home. Well, I feel like I am home now. Trying to rebuild the pieces and figure out who I am.

You may have already tried but try posting for a babysitter at UWF? Also, some of the local churches have babysitting resources.

Good luck.

Try care.com, my wife and I are having a rough time as well. We never get out alone and it has caused some problems. That site can link you with sitters/nanny's give you background.....

Suspension Techs

To All Suspension guru's. I know I need to go up a few sizes on my front springs and rear shock spring. I can change the rear but I am really not excited about diging into the forks. Do any of you guys know how to change front springs or know someone I could take the forks to locally? Thanks

Here's everything you need to know about changing fork seals and fluid if your bike is an EXC/XCW (open chamber forks):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y43k1...feature=relmfu
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9ICr...feature=relmfu

If your bike is an SX or XC you have Closed Chamber Forks:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0dLM...feature=relmfu
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UjtQp...feature=relmfu

Changing the springs is even easier, but if you've got a few hours on the bike you probably want to go ahead and change the fluid while you are in there. You will need a special fork cap tool though- Motion Pro or Tusk make them. PM me if you have more questions- I don't check this thread too often. Or just ask Vic- don't let him tell you he doesn't know how to do it!!
