Merry Christmas, everyone. Hope to meet y'all sometime soon.

Btw, here's my attempt at a ride report for my fly-n-drive Christmas present to myself.

See y'all soon... I hope.

Hangover Hare Scrambles

Hey gang...

As most of you "old timers" know... on New Years Day a bunch of the Team Mossy Head group and the Pcola guys get together at Mossy Head for some riding and eating... we always have a great turn out and in the past few years the PAR have added to the fun....

Not sure about this year. They are developing the area and I dont believe we can get in there anymore.

Is anyone interested in keeping the tradition alive by meeting somewhere else...

Spec Pond would work or perhaps meet at Blackwater for food and riding some dual sport action...

Anyway think about it and post up if you would be interested.

Just trying to keep traditions alive...

It's a shame about Mossy being developed! We spent a lot years in there laying out and cutting those trails. Lots of sweat was shed there on early morning training sessions preparing for enduros and hare scrambles.

Maybe a BW thing now Vic?

New Year Hangover Ride

Vic & PAR mongrel riders,
I'm up for a ride this sunday, sat 12/29 is no ride'um day (slated 4 a free for all "dirty santa" game w/family) but also open to ride next sat/sun, depending on majority poll or post-up participation results.
Typically good riding areas are always compromised as MossyHead was by useless tree clearing action for previously proposed Bio-diesel plant ?, just cleared mother natures foliage for naught ??
I'm in for either BlkWtr or EAFB location regardless of " Wabbit " season in progress, as I always have "THE JUDGE" & Uncle Mike's sling to enable return fire from behind my steed/beast.
Hoping that " State of Scott " ( balded butt-head opted out of federal OHV trail grant funding) & BlkWtr officials will end foot dragging/red tape to allow us to get back to work at Clear Creek OHV riding area ( new name, ammo 4 environmental activists ?? ) over near Whiting Field.
Hoping everyone had a Great Christmas w/family & friends, Fatman was not in possession of new pumpkin scoot (check'd his sleigh at gun point the other night) WTF ??

New Years

Vic,

Long Time, no see. There are still plenty of trails at MH but they are chopped up now. Most of the trails around the pit are still in good shape. I don't think a large gathering will work out too well though.

I'd like to see everyone again so I'm up for anywhere.

Johnboy good to see you posting. Welcome to this part of motorcycling.

I have not been to mossy myself so I dont know the extend of "clearing". Someone mentioned blocking off the clay pit with debris also... like they dont want people in there anymore!

I am still open for a new years day ride somewhere...

I finally made it to the "new years ride" last year....hate that it won't be the same :/ but something would be great... better than nothing. What about Karick Lake?
