Life sucks for me right now. Study, study, study... classes all day, studying every waking moment.

I'll resurface in about four weeks when the worst of the academic enema is over.

Enjoy your ride. Post lots of pics.

Dirt Weekend

Ok I went through the 5hunny today and she is ready to roll. I even put air in the tires and things like that.

Weather is calling for rain and then clear Saturday and Sunday... if thats true I may head out to Karick and spend night.
Apperson may bring his rig also.
WR ? Others?
Barney said he will be available for bike to bike refueling from his new tanker!

Hooknup? Get your ass over here and ride/camp/ride. You know where its at.

FBM - You will enjoy Im sure. Hope you make it.

BTW - this ride is challanging all dirt DS ride and larger bikes may not be comfortable.

Jeff, sounds like you will have all Saturdays off?

Be good to see you out riding more.

More than welcome. As I recall you were right there all day!

The only issue (besides hunters of course) is the weather. It is full dump time in FWB right now. Hope we get some relief.
I will NOT be out there in the mud.... cant afford to get hurt...

So we will see how the weekend turns out before pulling the triger.

Over a inch here in Nehhhh Varrrrr already. Blackwater mud and puddles would be challenging but the sand will be sticky and Epic!

Intellecast say rain will be over this afternoon and Friday and Sunday will be Sunny..... if that happens it will be great riding...

Last Saturday afternoon we stopped for break very near Hurricane Lake (and were we ride dirt all the time). We were on street bikes. A hunter pulled out of the dirt road and stopped to say "There's a hunt going on up there." Then he pulled out. Not friendly.

Afraid we can expect more of the same this weekend.

Perhaps we can rely on Barney for a "mud report".

Its not the rain, or even high water that I dont like its that grey and orange owl shit that is out there. Most of my injuries along the way have been from mud riding...sooo Im real careful about slip sliddin away....(nope I wont quote that one since I blew it on another thread).

Was kicking around the idea of joining you on Saturday afternoon. (Sunday morning not good for me) But will be waiting to see what the conditions might be. I'm not wanting to slide around in the mud all day either!
