Maybe I missed it.
Did Vico1 mention one of those spots as his destination?

Anyone?
According the latest weather forecast, Sunday should be the best day to ride. Just after the rain.. Sand will be perfect.

pretty sure it was 60ft/lbs i would have to check the manual i have. i doesnt let you torq it much more cause the engine spins. i looked at the nut closer to see if it was ok and i did not seen any loctite material and the book calls for 243. so maybe that was it. the washer was not bend up as much as could have been. thanks for the offer i ordered the oring maybe we could meet up and i can get the oring from ya for this weekend...

Give us some time to welcome you. Always good to have new riders join to bunch.

All types of riding in this area. Watch the posts and join in.

As MItr mentioned, post #2 gives you a good idea of where and what types of rides we have.

Timberlake is in Ft Walton.
We ride from Karack Lake a lot also which is close to you I think.

Most of our Fastburn rides are 60 miles and no gas! Most all off pavement.

Other rides are more relaxed and can fit in a gas station, but 40 miles is pretty short legs for most of the off road stuff...

Offically not riding tomorrow but let see about Sunday...

BTW - Etin - come on out and lets ring the 2fitty out...

VICO, I will try to make Sunday work. Currently packing up to start moving next week. Moving from North Pensacola to Innerarity. Won't help dirt biking or mountain biking, but boating will be off the chart...
Etingelefunts: get ur bony ass out there. U need to commune with some knobby tires and deep sand. I need to continue dialing in front suspension. Gonna start at zero on the compression,,, other than that, the li'l hussie is runnin' purty good.

I won't be back up to Crestview this weekend as this is my weekend w/my boys and I'm in Navarre. Sunday AM I will be in FWB I will be @ the Knights of Columbus hall by Twin Hills Park Monday from 6:30 to about 8.I will throw it in the truck and bring it with Sunday & Monday.

Torque, 60Nm / 44ft.lbs.

Have someone stand on the back brake while you tighten it. I use a cold chisel to get a good tight lock from the washer.

Or use an air compressor and impact wrench.

Still looking very wet in FWB.

With all the rain Eglin would be a better shot than Blackwater. Been a LONG time since I rode Eglin and especially Timbercreek.

I am open for anywhere. Been awhile since we rode Timbercreek and WR and Spectre were gonna ride over from Navarre on back Eglin roads...

Phil may even join us...

Rick, we close on the property next week, but will probably take a month or so to get moved in (painting, landscaping, fence for dog, etc) but it is year-round no-sh!z deepwater pier, maybe 6 feet at a minimum low spring tide. Almost directly north of the east end of Ono Island...

@VICO: Who is "Phil"? Is he a FNG?
Does he have a motorcycle or will he be riding bitch?

Dodging the Raindrops

After days of rain (and a big dose of studio tan), I managed to get in a quick 50 miles of sticky wet sand through Timber Lake with my neighbor Spectre.

Just couldn't take waiting another minute! The sand will be perfect tomorrow

Now I don't feel so bad sitting in front of the TV awaiting the Atlanta SX live on Speed tonight at 6:30.

Y'all keep an eye out for Madhouse, Bob Riker, Briske and the gang!
