Thanks rotorhead.
Doing a break in ride tomorrow at "Hutton".
This bike is way above my skill level, but hoping to grow into it.
Optimistic.
Fixing to turn in, been a long day. Can't wait to ride with any of the PAR that heads that way tomorrow.
Salute to Vico1 for offering to mentor breaking in the bike, and no doubt ride slower than he'd probably prefer waiting for tail end charlie.

Just a long way to get there.
Notice he said route sheets only and no GPS.
You caught the part about "no GPS".
I wondered if it meant no routes provided,,,,OR,,,don't use your gps to create the tracks during the ride so you could come back later with your pals and ride the same at another time.

Congratulations Kip!
That's a sharp bike and gonna be a beautiful day to try it out.

Bike has decent manners. Think I'll keep her a while.
Caught a wee bit of air and accidentally blipped it hard... but the bike forgave me after a few modest power slides.

Vico1 set a perfect pace. Any "noobs" who want to ride a good variety of two tracks head out with us one of these days.

Break In Ride

Eting – enjoyed the ride this morning. Brisk weather, surprise mud holes, and a new machine made it a great day.
I am sorry none of the other n00bs and or new comers were not there. You missed a great opportunity to ride. I enjoyed it and Im pretty sure Kip had a good time.
Attached is video of ride. I forgot captions, titles, and chit like that, but you can watch Eting take the first bites of the “Woodsbike Elephant”.

Was definitely a great day to ride! I was planning to be there and also meet up with Inept but a new exhaust meant my bike needed to be rejetted. You guys wouldnt have wanted a DR to ruin the orange ride though

Next noob ride on a saturday and I will make it for sure!

You KTM guys can go away now- I cant afford seeing them
