Believe it or not, I've actually got a couple different pairs of goggles, and I've learned (the hard way, of course) how important it is to wear them.

Waaaaay better than those Anakees. Offroad, at least

Anakees must be the "streetiest" DS tires I've ever seen...

THE tire for a DR650.
Hope you ordered the 3.25 for the front.

We had a great time yesterday at the bike show in Dauphin Island. Lots and lots of bikes entered. We ate at a restaurant on Dog River then made our way back to the car ferry for the ride back across the Mobile bay. We left at 8:30 and didn't get back to Pensacola until about 5pm.
I made a few pictures and here they are:

Dink is giving the ride talk and Melvin isn't paying attention.

Doug and Theresa on the car ferry

I ordered a seat concepts seat for the DR as the stock seat was not designed for my ass.

Does anyone know an upholstery shop that will do this type of work?

I know I'm supposed to able to do this myself, but I have a vision that if I do that, it will no longer function as a seat. Maybe as an ashtray... or something.

I did the one on my XRR.

Pretty easy to do bud... even for this chucklehead.

I used an electric staple gun to attach the seat cover to the seat pan.

Thanks for the encouragement, Doc. Maybe I wouldn't mess it up to bad.

Robin,
For the XR 185, I used Pentons upholstery on W street just south of Michigan/Beverly Parkway.
The do a lot of MC seats.

HS this weekend - I simply cannot make it. Good luck to MadMax and any others who venture over there. I should have checked my REAL calendar before commiting...

20th Ride -

Its possible that this ride my become a run-away with more folks than makes sense for one group. That said I may ask several of you to lead a group around. I will give you GPX tracks before hand. I know Madhouse and Barney know how to follow tracks... what say you guys...interested in being a "Ride Leader"

Mr O's Upholstery on 98 in Mary Esther. He did my 530 seat for a whopping $25 while I waited.
