The Early Report

Had 27 riders this morning at Karrick Lake.

Got to see a lot of old friends and some new ones too. We managed to keep the herd together for most of the day. Hats off to Vic for being patient enough to wait for the slower riders.

I "ASS"-u-"ME"d that Inept and two others had snuck in front of me after the 1st big turn from the campground where we all meet up, and they werent there yet, so they missed the whole ride cause I did a shitty job running sweeper! It was the first turn of the ride so really no excuse, and I shoulda done a head count before we all took off! Im very sorry and hope all will some day forgive me! Props to Miss Karen for recovering from NASTY crash in the mud, and thanks to Victor for trying to keep everyone on tract!

Laugh

I don't think I've ever used the word "Epic" to describe a ride,,,,but I will for today's ride.

Rained yesterday, so no dust.
Sunny and warmed up as the day went on.
Nobody got hurt.
Vic laid out the kinda ride I really enjoy in this stage of life.
Thank you Vic!

Thank you Bert, Karen,Brett B,Robin and Melvin for the help and lip service changing the tube out on my bike.
Enjoyed the dogs and burgers and BS after the ride.
A GREAT day!

Great day yesterday even though I had a couple of mishaps...A little sore today but no major problems. Glad to see all the familiar faces and meet some of the newcomers as well. I have always wanted to see someone fix a flat on the trail ; glad no one was offended by my potty mouth!(I don't give a fuck just fix the damn thing!) Had fun with all you guys...looking forward to another round!

+1 A great day for an "Epic" ride. Perfect conditions and nobody got hurt (although Karen did her best to make it seem someone was gonna get hurt). Always willing to lend a hand on a tire change as I have done many. Had a great time and a lot of fun. Thanks for the hot dog too. Too bad I didn't have my GoPro camera angle set properly and in reviewing some of the video my head is stuck in a cocked back and somewhat looking at the ceiling position. Good thing we got a few pics...I will post some up later.

You and the flats! Seems I changed one of your flats before (Cheaha). Did you hang the tube on that fence post...lol!
