I already tried. Needs something smaller. I expect we will see Bartohob with new EVERYTHING soon. He is another long time rider who couldn't find anyone to ride with. Well he has now!

I figured you were in S Florida.

BTW - Happy Moms day to all you FF out there.

Had fun out there today with Vic and Bartohob. Bartohob spanked his KLR650 out there today and threw it around like a 125!!

Has anyone changed out their seat on the KTM....it's a bit rough. I can only ride it for a few hours comfortably and am paying for it the next day. My buddy has his changed and is GG or something, but I can ride it much longer. I have been busy this weekend, and next weekend will be in Chicago. I have the sprockets changed out and handguards on!!! I am getting itchy to ride.

They aren't meant for sitting, KTM's are bred for racing. You need to stand up on a KTM and the butt pain will go away.....

Tubliss

In my own personal opinion, I'm sticking with heavy duty tubes. Tubes cost much less, and it's easier to change a tube if you have a problem. If you loose tire pressure, and the tire bead comes loose from the rim, with a Tubliss system, your in trouble. I'll save my money and take my chances, since I've already had a bad experience with them. Check your tire pressures often!

We are back to the KTM being a dirt bike and not a street bike. Yea the seat is just one of those areas where you would be better off with a street bike. Several folks make replacement seats but I have no experience with any.
I'm like WoodsRider ... I truck bike as far as I can on slab, and then I STAND a lot.

Caution... most soft seats are taller than stock and I already cant swing my leg over the KTM. Here lately Ive gone to mounting and dismounting with kickstand down and using peg to give me leg clearance.

Looking forward to riding with you again.
