I don't think a newer one would be a problem.

I know several people who have had two stroke xc-w plated. All depends on the MSO or registration if not tagged and titled.

how about an exc with no title/tag/mso/registration? no papers whatsoever...

if it's just a matter of paperwork i'd love to get the 200 tagged for EG sand practice

I almost bought a 2009 (maybe 2010) 400XC-W, got the price with ktm light kit and ready to title. I don't know if that was unique but I didn't get the impression it was.

That is what Apperson rides. He had no trouble BUT he bought it new in GA and had dealer paperwork.

He swears the 450 is a better machine than the 500 - for OUR FASTBURNs at any rate...

plating

hatch I know that if you have a friend in miss. they can take the bike to a muffler type shop to have it inspected once it passes the inspection there it can be plated in miss. by a resident and receive a tag, title and regs.
I think tenn. and n. Carolina are the same as well. it would cost more due to having to pay to bring it into fla. but everything we like cost $$$
my 2 cents

Rotor, if you are buying it new...no problem. KTM mso's just say "motorcycle". With the mso & dealer reciept just pay the taxes & fees and your good. You don't even have to have the bike with you. Go to W street office, they are always so packed they zip you through

Once you reach 15 years old, you can tag through good ole Vermont, no inspection or residence needed. Handy trick

Go for it Vic!! It looks almost new.........

I had forgotten about daughter's Cheer Camp coming up, so motorcycle purchases moved to back burner for a bit.....
