Permit

Just got back from renewing my permit, rained like hell the last 10 miles to the guard. My buddy tried to get MY rainsuit since he forgot his and I had a "windshield"......didn't work

RJ,

See what I mean about her being very helpful...hard to believe that it was the same person you had on the phone. I think she just tries really hard to do her job, make sure everybody is safe, and then after that she is all smiles and full of information. I worked with her about 20 years ago and once you get past the rough exterior, she is a sweaty.

You must understand what she normally deals with ...

when faced with intelligence, manners, and speech without drooling tobacco juice she become a different lady... always been nice to me.

I even sent an email to the site explaining that she and several others around were great folks and a credit to Jackson Guard... never hear a word back.

Sunday at Brox

I plan on breaking my nightly fast at the first little shopping center north on 87 from 98 in Navarre. Cant ever remember their name but they are pretty good. If for some reason they are closed on Sunday then I will go back to WH in Navarre. All at 6:45. All are welcome.

RJ if you want to follow me from FWB we can meet up on 98 somewhere. Although this place aint hard to find...

BTW this is a great bunch of guys to ride with sooooo just before pulling out you might give a quick check to make sure you pet cock is still turned to "on" and your steering dampener isn't maxxed out, and youy clip is still on your masterlink, and your goggles are clear....

That happened to Karen once. We were fooling around with the buttons on the speedo after gassing up and must have rubbed the dials a bit (gloves on you know) and had her on full 24 clicks on. She was "extra" slow leaving the gas station (for some reason). She fell once for no apparent reason, and was having a bad day until we figured out she was too tight on the ole steering. Then her Recluse clutch burnt out to top it off. One of those days...
DB

p.s. Won't happen again I assure you!

Just got in from Stone Mt.
Since I can't really afford a proper ADV
beast ride the dirt wing will work.
I just hope 1520cc's are enough
to keep up with the 5 hunny.

I feel your pain RJ, been there done that. I've been ride'n off road for bout three years and on a good day I might be able to keep these "boys" in site. Probly good thing you road today. Will make tomorrow much easier. BWF will have some rocks, hard pack, gravel and yes, some sand. But will be much closer to what you ride back home. Enjoyed meeting you today and look forward to tomorrow.
