You dont quit riding when you get old, you get old when you quit riding.
I don't always ride street bikes, but when I do I prefer VStroms

Jackson Guard

I talked to Nancy (the lady at the Jackson Guard front desk) yesterday and she said they were open but not sure how long it would last or if they would be affected at all. If you are getting your permit now, you can get the Small Game Permit for $10 and it will cover you for the Fiscal Year (1 Oct-30 Sep). Nancy will give you a lecture on when you can take firearms on the range and that the season doesn't start until January but it will still let you be on the Eglin Reservation and ride legally. The fishing permit is $20 and is good for one year from the date you purchase it so if you just need a permit to ride then the Small Game Permit is the cheapest way in dollars per month of riding unless it is after 31 March. If you just want to donate extra cash to the government you can get the Recreation Permit which is $12, good 1 Oct-30 Sep and doesn't allow you to do anything except ride e.g. no hunting or fishing.

Welp, got a job offer in Tejas and I'm moving there on the DR (don't have a car) friday. Real shame I didn't get to ride with more of you. Gonna miss blackwater a ton- there isn't much within a few hours riding where I'm headed and certainly nothing as pretty.

Take it easy

My neighbor(rideawaywk) and I are going to try and make it. I haven't rode with the entire group yet, but we've both rode with a few of you in the past. I hope we can hang in there with you guys, but we'll have fun trying. What's the meeting time or departure time from the Karick area?

Sorry to see you leave the area. Keep in touch. Only a click away.

Bad ass country out there. Be careful.

I think that was me. I passed a big group of bikes on my way home after our ride. That was my first but not last ride with Vic and the guys...
