You dont quit riding when you get old, you get old when you quit riding.
I don't always ride street bikes, but when I do I prefer VStroms

Tureky Trot MIA

Yo adventure mongrels,
Sorry I missed all the good times & great riders gathered around the campfire, especially our long distance buds, Sir Buzztail & our Real Dr.Z. of course even as a nobody, this someone misses the talented "DirtWoman" super gal adventure rider.
As usual for my posts, this may be too graphic or unnecessary yap for tolerance regardless of youth or old age. What started out as my first colonscopy(sp?), as instructed by doc, I did'nt eat nothing on last Thursday (kinda tough as a "regular strict schedule" insulin dependent diabetic for past 34 years)

Drank the first dose of screaming shitzy fluid at 4pm after work and was ready to get'R"done when I woke at 5am fri morning & drank the second dose of "screaming toilet chorus" fluid at 5:20am. I went into "dry heaves" approx 30 minutes later but reported to Davis Hwy endoscopy center @ 8am to a packed waiting room prepared I thought to wait another hour (9:20am appt) before being rod-raped by flippin camera.

No room to sit down in waiting area, packed house!! Discovered all toilets seats in bathroom also occupied, so I made several attempts to upload 2nd dose contents from my gut into sink, nothing but a lot of noise but no fluids to discharge upwards. I had F-16 jet propelled(downloaded) any & everything I had in my stomach before I left the house, including a couple of toenails ME THINKS ?! I had not eaten anything for 24 hours previous so no doubt I was on low on fuel & with no daily(24hr dose) insulin shot.

Ssoo I went outside, evidently not far enough from front door to continue my doubled over dry heaving only to gain the attention & sympathy from new arrivals by gacking in the shrubbery. Nurse came out & thought I was having a heart attack, took me in back fed me nitro pill & hooked me up to a machine. I was told I needed to go to hospital but that they could do arss "GoPro" camera inspection at sacred heart after I was cleared, LIE !! Nurse beat on the ambulance door twice(that they had called) angrily asking that they move the ambulance. MedTech & the bus driver told her both times that they would not be moving till they had me hooked-up & ready to transport !!!
After spending majority of Friday in ER they found no heart problem & released me, only to return to davis hwy center to lame excuse that doctor had left at noon. I stated my glee that they were able to weed me out of overbooked status that morning so doc could leave at lunch. I felt that I had been lied to & pissed on so I proceeded to piss back on their diagnoses that I was having a heart attack. I later read on paperwork included w/SUPREP solution that nausea & vomit potential was possible side effect.

When I got back home I took my daily shot & ate like a pig at the trough, got my prepped scoots loaded on trailer.w/most of camp gear & fifth of kickin chicken(101 Turkey) in truck before my body gave out. Needless to say I woke up sat am feeling like an anal Shiite Muslim from previous two day ordeal & prep too pass holy screaming crap.
Sunday I was feeling up to a ride but figured I had missed the best, Saturday ride & Saturday night BS fest & feast.
So I guess the good news, I did'nt have a heart attack after all was said & done(including all ugly things spoken at endoscopy ctr after release from SH ER), The bad side I blew approx $420, a days pay fri.($110), emergency room visit ($250 ins co-pay), plus $60 for the shitzy prep solution wasted thru the pipes (ins did pay $23.76 of $83.76 retail price)
Yap, Yap, Yap, biOtch, biOtch BUT still kickin & alive out here in my space, Regrets yeah a couple, but Thank the Lord (NOT the pinhead pencil pushers at Davis Hwy Endoscopy center!!)
