Just became a grandpa on Thursday so this class smacks of a mid-life crisis...
Hope "abbreviated" course still covers a lot of dirt.

Merry Christmas as welcome to PAR.

All kinds of riding here.

I suggest you look at post #2 (yep way back there) for info on local meeting places and the types of rides we do.

Winter dirt riding is slow because its hunting season but stay tuned and join in the fun.

Hangover Ride is Official

The Team Mossy Head guys have confirmed that HLC will be open for us on New Years Eve for camping and New Years day for our gathering.

Its a pretty good trip over there but it should be a hoot. All welcome. Bring some food and a little extra to share... worked in the past!

BTW Mates Shane Watts aint no pussy. You may regret signing up for this. He pulls no punches. I have never actually attended his class but I have watch my buddies go through some of the drills.

The wheelie turnaround is quite helpful...

(btw, this class is an adjunct instructor, not wattsy himself, but I am curious to get a different perspective)

I got lots of pics from Baja, unfortunately not from the GoPro, time lapse no worky, but I did get some good video that I'll post as soon as I get past the learning curve. This is what I was getting in time lapse mode before the damn thing would shut off.

If I stare at them for a really long time I start to see pink stripes.

Other than the stripes a lot of that looked like SAND.

How was it compared to OUR sand?

Seriously we are all glad you made it back.

Singleton rides are always a bit risky but Baha alone!

Wheelie turnaround .....

Learned it from Shane at his school. Be prepared to ride over huge downed trees, do more wheelies that you ever thought possible. I suggest putting on an old rear fender because you WILL go over backwards if you're trying hard.

Ask him to show you how by just changing your line in the woods by an inch can totally take the roughness out of single track.

BtW welcome home Barney!
