I will back Carlo and Barracuda.

Never did much more than walk into the FWB Kawi dealership and look around. They didn't have BMWs then....

However, I do believe it is "Carlos", btw. hell i may be wrong there.

No matter - it's a struggling "industry" and I do not envy their lot in life.

There will always be a person that will feel slighted by certain circumstances.

C'est la vie...

Pete, CARLO hates you!

Pete, if you have been calling him "Carlos" (like everyone else does) then he secretly hates you! LOL. It was always a big joke when i worked there.

I cant believe Carlo's sons are working there, jeez they were just kids when i was there from 99 to 01.

One is his son by birth, he adopted several others from Russia as well. I heard he was running it by himself now, thats too bad, i hate to see him struggle as well.

Carlo still misses the Beemers.

OH and Pete, the fact that you bought a burghman from him may give you a pass for calling him Carlos! LOL.

Basin Bayou Ride

Wow! That was worth the trip over there.

Lots of dead ends where the creeks cut you off but still a lot to ride and we didn't see a soul all day... except at the camp site which was almost full!!!

We made the right choice for Indigo but this place is cool.

Meeting regarding OHV park at Bear Lake Pavilion

This has been ongoing for years and years. I cannot make this meeting being its this coming tuesday, and sure wish someone from out little crowd could go and make a report how its going. This is a copy of the information that Wayne Briske sent me:

The next OHV Advisory Committee Meeting will be on April 6, 2010 at the Blackwater River State Forest, Bear Lake Recreation Area at the Pavilion. Meeting will start at 9:00 a.m. to noon. Below are directions to the facility.

From Pensacola: Take the Avalon Boulevard Exit off Interstate 10. At the stop sign turn to the left. Go down Avalon Boulevard till you get to Highway 90 and take a right. Travel to the Burger King and take a left on to Stewart Street (Hwy 87). Go to the Milton High School. Take a right across from the Milton High School on to Hwy 191. Travel approximately 20 miles and you will see the Blackwater Forestry Center on your right. Just past the Forestry Center you will come to the intersections of Highway 4 and Highway 191. Turn right on to Highway 4 and travel approximately 2.5 miles to the Bear Lake Recreation Area sign. Proceed toward the campground. Look for the entrance road into the Bear Lake Pavilion parking area.
