That crashin thing is no fun.

How much pavement is on this ride? I think my top speed is close to 60. And I do mean absolute TOP speed. lol I'm ready to tear up some trails.

We did a fair bit of pavement on Saturday's ride, and I personally wouldn't have wanted a 60MPH top speed while running it...but of course YMMV.

You got a bigger front sprocket? On this kinda ride, your motor would thank you

I'm going up two or so in the rear on the 450 but I think I'll be able to manage

Hey Vic, What kind of gearing did you wind up with on that 530?

I'm in for the ride also! Hopefully it doesn't conflict with anything else, whenever you guys are ready to plan/do it. Sounds like some cool areas.

I played with that some over the past two years. 14/48 on my scoot and I am thinking go to 14/50. Phil likes the 15/50 since he has close ratio. I actually like Phils ride better, but for a lot of other reasons also.

Can you believe mine came with 15/45.... It would easily do over a hundred, but I never got it close to that.

I don't always ride street bikes, but when I do I prefer VStroms

I'm at 14/50 now, and kind of want a bit more snap, and crawl-ability. I can do well into the 90's now and then some. Was thinking about going to 14/52 now, and seeing how I like it in the mud and tight stuff. I am sure I could scrub some off the top and NEVER notice.
Last weekend I hit 92 (on a closed course ) And knew I was WAY over geared when it seemed to still be pulling. At 70-72 indicated it's not the least buzzy on the way to or from the woods.
Joey's 525 seems perfect with 14/50, but then again it's got more grunt than the 450 does.
Also I'm going to get someone to look at the rear shock. It seems too soft even for the 80-250 spring that's on it
I love this scoot

Two bike trailer.

Howdy folks. I was just wondering if one of the inmates here in NW Fl has a two bike trailer they would consider renting to me for a five day trip? I will leave a deposit with the owner to cover the cost of the trailer in case of an accident.

I've got a single bike trailer, but I'm thinking about taking the 690 and S3 to N Carolina next week. I live in Pace.

Thanks for any consideration and ride safe.
