I'll bet I've watched that one a dozen times, and for the life of me don't think I could keep up with Phil if I tried. He makes it look so easy

Yeah, Vic has been a big part of my life fr the past 10 years. We have ridden thousands of miles together, racing, riding, cutting trail laughing all the way. We raised our sons in the woods on bikes.

Before he came over to the ADV side of life he had the same effect on our group Team Mossy Head. At one time we had probably 30 guys that raced together, cut trail and looked for new places to cut trail. Vic was always on the newsgroup putting rides together. In fact he and I single handedly ruined our best riding area by putting on a time trials.....(ask him to tell you about it sometime...LOL)!

I'm glad he kept on me to try this DS thing with him. It has introduced me to a whole new group of good fellas.

Like the saying goes, "any friend of his is a friend of mine", never words more true when it comes to my old buddy Vic!

You might give Motion Industries a call on Palafox. 433-0021. I have stopped in there before and they seem pretty cool to deal with--they also have a good selection of seals...

I've been told there's a guy there at Motion Industries who is the End-All/Be-All source of knowledge re: bearings. I've never met this Bionic Bearing Dude but I will soon, because I'll be changing wheel bearings on the DRZ during the next tire change...

Get well soon Vic. This has all of us truly concerned.
Please let me/us know when we can visit him in the Hospital.
FYI Vic showed me the ropes and introduced me to the mossy head gang a few years back when I arrived to the area. He welcomed me with open arms and eventually we all migrated to the ADV gang. Without him I might have still been searching for you FF's.

Damn I hate these long hot Florida summers...

GET WELL SOON AND IF YOU OR YOUR FAMILY NEED ANYTHING PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

Get on a bus tomorrow morning. Going OTR with Werner. I'll be back for a ride when the weather is nice : ) I might be gone for 6-8 weeks. Wish me luck!

Vic, Hope you get better soon, I don't get out to ride with you often enouugh, but you always keep everyone together or at least caught up. No one else knows EG like you do.

Momma always told me ridding these things were dangerous.

Praying for you Vic.

Just remember these things and you'll be OK:

When in DOUBT, swing that trailer OUT

Drive the TRAILER not the TRACTOR

Stay away from lot lizards

See, everything I really needed to know I learned in Schneider School! Good luck to ya Gavin--get it, Driver, get it!!

And a quick lesson in CB Lingo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_Tje6kdeLg

Just got off the phone with F.W.B.M.C., Vic is still in ICU and visits are restricted to family members only. I wonder if ADV Family counts?

850-862-1111 is the operator # in case any of y'all want to get the latest update. I'm planning on riding over to Ft. Walton as soon as Vic is released from ICU...

Keep the Positive Hooligan Energy flowing, riders!

Vic, praying for your speedy recovery and look forward to riding with you again(or way behind). Can't believe you call the way you ride "taking it easy" though.

Vic

Guys,

Just spoke with Vic's wife Alice and she asked that I share the following with you all:

Vic had a stint put in to correct a 100% blockage that he had. Everything went well.

He is in his ICU room and is resting.

She said that he will probably be there till Thursday and that he should be back on here (the forum) maybe even tonight.

Vic has read the well wishes that everyone here has posted and it means alot to him.

Might want to wait till he is up and about to call or attempt to visit.

Rick
