Thanks Vic. No Clanton this year for me, maybe we can sneak out for an easy ride if you're up to it.

Thanks for sharing your ride.
You need to come down here and ride. closest place would be Spec Pond area which we ride a lot. Thats Exit 70 on I10 so you can judge.

Looking at the vid I might suggest a really good pair of Bark Busters! They are a must when riding tighter trails like we do. Remember its not so much to protect you hands as it is to keep the trees from hitting the front brake lever or clutch for that matter. Confidence level goes way up with bark busters (NOT roost guards - heavey duty Bark Busters like Cycra Pro Bend). IMHO.

Looking forward to riding with you.

I used to live on base at Fort Rucker. Two separate tours when I was a kid--dad was in the Army. I learned to drive (cars) in the dirt and mud of many of those "trails"--especially behind Lowe Field. Good memories...!

If you are going to ride I would ask you to pre-enter. Saves you $10 and gets club boost. R bin, Pheadrus?

Thanks
Vic, I was thinking of doing that one, since it is supposed to get much cooler starting next week--not sure how long it will last. Got to redeem myself and figger out if I wanna partake in these or not. I got some other hurdles to overcome, but I might send in for the entry JIC... thanks for the heads up!

Austrian Butt R Nuts

I know the feelling...my VOR has an aluminium oil nut ..stipped it the first time , I always used a pair of vise grips to get the first break ..even filed my own edges till i just gave up on trying to "save " the stupid thing so it's round ..big deal ...vise grip off vise grip on . I love the supermoto , downshift twice n slide ! loades of fun and there aint a straight section of road here for more than 100 yards . I do have to keep reminding myself that because of the small frnt wheel the rocks offroad are alot closer to the forks though as I've jammed up on stuff normally I'd ride over . Looks like yu'll r hav'n a good time back there , I do miss the trees n tight rabbit trail of the forest ..Damn ancient greeks cut all their trees down for boats to fight the romans only to burn them up in the water , old navy method I guess!

Hasn't rained here yet! Bring it!! Sunday is supposed to have the best chance of showers by a slim margin.

At the moment I am good with either day. Have to be done by 11-ish on Sunday.
