GillaFunk meets the Darth Peach

Well, I FINALLY got my girl back this week and met up with the Darth Peach for a local day ride. We agreed on a 1030 meet up in Cotate. EVENTUALLY she decided to grace me with her presence @ about 1115. Upon wondering over to the bike she said something about tire pressure so I handed her my gauge. Is this girl new? How low were you my dear? 5 and 8lbs, front and rear? "Oh, so that might explain why it feels like I'm riding on marbles" she says. So I the importance of checking your tire pressure on our way to the gast station to get the girl some air. "Unable to provide air & water due to Vandalism" was what the first station compressor said at Valero . "Out of Service" at the 76 . Luckily, Chevron had a working unit. It didnt matter, as apparently my pressure gauge was a little to complicated for her.

So..even though we were @ the damn gas station getting her air.....we had to pull over 22 miles later. Boy that 650 has SHITE for fuel range. or....is it just the bike operator? Jeusus....those bikes are small, can you see the little yellow fooker behind my bohemoth?

....and we stpped again. FUCK!!!

Some in an SUV pulled up to ask US if we knew how to get to HWY 1. I gave him directions, and asked if he wanted to see my map but he said "Well, we got this GPS, but we figured we'd just ask you guys". WTF

So..I was navigating via a crappy map, and a horrible memory so I made the decision to stop and take a break (and to get my bearings). No No I wasnt lost . We enjoyed the view

So, eventually we got to Skaggs Springs Rd, and the fun began. I tried my best to keep up, but this girl was too fast for me.

I could hardly keep up

We stopped at Lake Sonoma for a break, and to get her out of her..eh....under garments. We wondered up to the look-out tower but the fecking sand fleas or midges, or whateva the fuck you call them were all over us. We threw our gear back on and ended finding a few fookers in our gear and helmets buzzing and biting us all the way to Healdsburg. GAWD that was annoying

Back onto skaggs....

Id catch up, then she would speed away again.

We made our way to Healdsburg and had a relaxing lunch at Bear Republic. The last few miles of the ride were spent splitting down 101 during rush hour. It was QUITE entertaining watching her split on that 'lil bike. I know a few people got the ADV Salute , and one guy almost got his side pannel kicked in; something about crowding her out of the lane.

Hey Peach, pully MY Finger

yes, the bike has been fixed ;)

Crazy ride up. I couldn't downshift without the bike dying every time.
All good now. Fixed the throttle cable that was mistakedly run on the outside of the fork , by you know who, and reset the computer.

If you would just mike work on the bike without you standing there talking his ear off he wouldnt make a mistake like that.
