Looking at maps now

Plan A. Usually we leave Calistoga between 9&930. We will probably head up to Mendo National lunch at Letts lake and back out of the forest. Im looking at maps to mix up the trails now getting there and back.

Plan B. I am also looking at maps for Cow Mountain. Ive been up there a few times by myself but never ventured off the main road. In a group I would feel better about veering off the trail and have help ready to pick up my bike.

Plan C. Hook up at Pope Creek bridge at Lake Berryessa. Hit some trails at Knoxville OHV then reiff road/Ray house over to cache creek then drop into mendo National and letts lake back out to Clear lake oaks. This is a longer route so smaller fuel range bike take note (HP2 Vrago Vincent) This would be a cool route to mix it up a little. Heck they would all be cool.

Help !!!!

I'm being held captive in Pennsylvania at my In-Laws until mid day 7/22.

Good news is that I'm taking my son Philip out camping in Arnold 7/241 for a few days. No riding, but camping with te boys should be good.

The Rialto theatre is presenting "Long Way Down" on July 31st, it's a one chance showing at 7:30 PM 2hr directors cut presentation.
Maybe I'll see some of you there or we can organize to meet for an early dinner at one of the local taco joints

How about Pepe's on the corner of Sebastopol Rd and Stony Pt Rd?
Good Mex food, inexpensive, outdoor seating, easy to find and about a 10 minute street ride to the Rialto, lets say 6PM?

Tuesday the 22nd

Ok so lets go with plan A: 9Am at La Prima Pizza in Calistoga. Thats the intersection for silverado trail and Lincoln in Calistoga. That works best for the guys from sonoma santa rosa.

Brant on the GSA is in. Boney says he is up for it. I am talking with Sandplow he might be free. One other outstanding on the fence.

We will hit Mendo National dropping in from Bartlett springs. I am still looking at two different routes so hang in there. I wont have my GS back from the shop so Ill be on the Transalp with no GPS! This will be the maiden voyage for me and the TA. Im Going to have to hope my map skills are brushed up and the old memory is working.

Bring a lunch and be ready to have some fun.
