GillaFunk you get your bike back

Did your bike code out on the table under the knife? Was Mike able to bring it back to life?

Any One want to ride next Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday(March 30th-April 3rd)? I was kind of wanting to go up to Mendo National above ClearLake.

Just don't go alone. I got stuck up there on M6 past lake Pilsburry a few weekends ago. There are people and aminals that you don't want to run into up there.

I have seen several Bob cats and one full grown Mt. Lion with a cub out on M1 and Twin Valley. I started this thread so i wont have to ride alone. If you get stuck or break down or worse get hurt out there with no cell service God help you.

Let me know.

Thanks for the offer but I'll pass on the manual labor. I have plenty of stuff I have been putting off at my house. I will still put it off until I have to do something.

Glad the bike is rollin. How does Tuesday the 1st or Wednesday the 2nd sound? I think I will have one other guy in for Tuesday or Wednesday the 2nd. He is new to the GS world so he is still learning the BIG bike thing. Dont worry about keeping up, we will just have fun. OH yeah bring some H2o and a sandwich.

Moday the 31st will work for me. You want to meet in Calistoga then ride up hwy29 to Highvalley rd in clear lake oaks. Earlier the better on meet time. How does 9am at Lincoln(main st in Calistoga) and Silverado trail (aka hwy 29) at La Prima Pizza sound?

Yes, no cell phone service and lots of road to walk on. I actually went to the soda creek store and called from their pay phone.

I'm in Sonoma and feel the same way about riding alone in the national forests. I barely escaped a couple of years ago on my 1150 - the year of the big new years floods. I don't usually have days off during the week, but occasionally. During the summer I'll be free after 11:00 every day.
