I'm in need of a good long stree ride. With summer approaching, Clear lake should be getting a bit more populated with some honey's in bikini's.
So, you like 'em without teeth, eh?

Cory nice job in the big bike class! Here's a shot from just before the top of that hillclimb.

Good Stuff. Can't wait for next time....maybe I will take my XR650R....
The mud doesn't make you look fat, but the grind mark on the bark buster tells me you can really lean that thing over in the turns.

erg

p.s. Will weld for turn signals, head light lenses or trail pack sized block and tackle capable of lifting 300 pounds vertically at least 20 feet. . .

That's a nice ride. Wish I was home to join you. Wonder if there is still water accross the road behind the lake? Great breakfast place in middletown.

Main Street Cafe, close to the intersection of Lakeshore Drive and Olympic Drive. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Paradise Pizza on Lakeshore was good the last time I was there. If you want quick eats, there's fast food near the Walmart on Highway 53 as well as on Lakeshore Drive just down the road from Highway 53.

Sorry I can't make it. Watch for cops everywhere on 29, 20, 175, etc. Lots of enforcement on the more main roads.

I'll add the stunningly great Cactus Grill on Lakeshore in Clearlake. If you're old like me and your doctor has given you stern warnings on your food choices to live a long life their super healthy mango salad with grilled shrimp outdoors and a few trips to the salsa bar = happiness. And you can keep an eye on your bike.

If you are near Finley (near Lakeport) also good mexican food @ Angel's Rock House. Homemade, all good.

You can't go wrong with a meal @ Main Street like Ron says.

Sweet!

Yea my ancient (1998) KTM 380, but this was on the dual sport, the even ancient-er (94) XR650L.
