Nice place (we've seen a lot of drafty old farmhouses for way too much money), private, big yard for growing food, and quiet. Upward of $2000 per month if the place is nice. 2-3 bedrooms, 2 bath. kid friendly, west sebastopol generally, not too far from town.

thanks!

Sorry for the continued hijack

So I printed up some ads from Craiglist and rode up to Windsor and joined up with my wife there. Two properties really stood out, an old 3 bedroom with a basement in Santa Rosa off Montgomery near the lake for $1300 (fantastic elevated view, balcony, curved drive that goes around back instead of around the front. Run down, but nice. Didn't see the inside, it's offered through a property management company. I will be calling them first thing monday morning.

The other property is a newer 3/2 in Windsor, not nearly as cute, but a better deal at $1200, which as you know is too good to be true territory. No number in the ad so after we drove by (it's occupied so we obviously didn't stop) we went to wife's parent's house to email an inquiry.

We got a response that the owners are in W. Africa doing missionary work and they just need someone to "look after the house" all utilities paid. My wife's all exited and I'm like scam scam scam I told my wife not to send off any more info than she already sent (name and phone numbers) until I get a chance to go talk to the occupants. Have any of you ever heard of such a scam?

scam. We saw a few of those. It's funny how obvious it is when you start reading it. The guy in one ad said that even if we see a 'for sale' sign out front that we shouldn't worry, it's not for sale, and he said definitely don't call any of the numbers of the sign...

Cool! If it's up by Joy Rd. or Coleman Valley, you'll have a lot of FF's riding by.

Be sure to let us know when you get here so we can "welcome" you properly.

Psssst: Don't let GillaFuck anywhere near the place - he's a monster.

where/when? I could probably make this if it wasn't too long of a day. I'd be on the little bike this time.

I'm game if you guys want to do Mendocino, Cow has no trees and to many cranksters on weekends.

I have room for one bike on the trailer..

What he said. I'd rather go stonyford area than Cow.

My wife is taking off for a pedal bike ride at about 7 AM, and it takes me around an hour to get to Napa, so that's my time frame- I don't really feel like getting up earlier than that. I'm ok with the heat.
