Ah, wish I woulda seen this.

I've been going out there a lot lately.

The season is still good. Not too dusty at all, and really theres like no one out there, at all hours of the day, weekend or not.

Let me know next time you go.

I was out there today, at like noon, and even though the south cow staging area was packed, we didn't run into hardly anyone on the trails.

Lake Tahoe July15-18

Im looking into camp spots up in Tahoe for July 15-18 thats a fri-mon. The Assualt on Tahoe isnt happening this summer so im needing to get up there and ride. One day around the lake one day down Kingsbury grade Nevada side. A few others like Dean and I have done this ride a few times so its pretty epic as far as scenery and tracks. Anyone have a line on camp spots post up and if you are free those dates lets do it.

Saturday, we'll be bee-lining to Middle Creek to take Sled Ridge up the hill then continue climbing up past Penny Pines to explore the single tracks. Exact route unknown. Returning 'home' via the crossing at Bear Creek and then continuing down Twin Valley Road to Bartlett Springs, then more dirt to Clearlake Oaks. Or maybe Trail 37 to Twin Valley...

Many on big bikes, some on small, we abuse them all. Come for the day or spend the night in the woods with your crashed bike. It's all good.

Search 'HLDMC' in Ride Reports to see how and what we ride. If you want more details, PM me or others who have been on this.

Hey, got pics up yet? Good to meet you Ron and. . . . Scott? I'm terrible with names (and faces, just ask Cory). I had a good ride up to washington, managed to avoid rain the whole time (and I didn't try Laporte road, decided it was probably under snow).

Hey Cory- I thought you were going on that ride too? I didn't make it to the ride, I just happened to meet some folks on adventure bikes while I was riding up around Berryessa. I was on my way to ride my 640 up to washington state, so I chatted for a minute and then took off on my way.

I need help retreiving my GS ADV

Here's the deal. A few weeks ago my wife and I got into an argument. She got a bit crazy and I didn't feel safe so I left. Days later, she filed a restraining order against me and said I "pushed her around". I've never hit her and and I'm not an abusive person. My wife is bipolar and refusing treatment. Court has been delayed twice and I'm not sure how long I'm going to be prevented from seeing or getting my bike back. I filed for a divorce today. I'm wondering if anybody here would mind helping me get my bike back. The bike is at our home in Nicasio at a historic ranch/organic farm we live on. Someone else who lives on the ranch (most likely the owner of the ranch/real good people) who could accompany you to the bike so it can be ridden to the edge of the property where I could legally be. The owner is also saying I have to move the bike because there is a summer day camp that recently started on the ranch and there is the possible liability of a kid climbing on it and it falling on them. Another small detail is the battery on the bike is dead. I have a brand new battery with me that needs to be dropped in. I would gladly pay someone for their time and perhaps buy them a beer or two at Rancho Nicasio. If you're interested you should be of height or experienced on a big bike like this. It's an 08 R1200GS ADV. Thank you for your time. Oh, I'm also willing to pay for your time.

Hi Frank

When do you want to do this? Sunday is looking best for me right now but I might be able to do it Friday.
