The not so pleasant man from the jeep gowling at me because the Super Bug got that one gallon of gas he wanted was entertaining all right. Hmmmm about 20 men and 2 women in the group and he chooses to growl at a woman before stomping off to his jeep. What a macho man he was .

This is how Oldtimer became, "Snowball". Yes, that is a "Snowball" he is eating. He offered me some, but I thought he looked better with it.
Hey Erica, I like that new name you gave Oldtimer I think it's going to stick

After I split off from all u guys, I headed to Santa Rosalia. Very pretty little town, not touristy at all even though it was the tourist that suggested I go there. I was going to take the ferry to the mainland but got a call from home about an emergrncy. So, the next morning I hauled ass all the way back to Yuma. (The emergency turned out to be ok ).

Got gasolina at the intersection where u all turned off to L A Bay. (from the back of a pick-up truck). Had a ball on the dirt road. It was neat being out there alone

Got on the pavement & about 27 miles from San Felipe the bike just died. Nothing, nada, couldn't get it to go! No one was around for miles. Started stuffing stuff in my pockets & saying good-bye to a great bike that has served me well. All of a sudden a pick-up stops & two guys say they are 'moto mechanico's.' They can't get it going either. Then another guy stops & they all throw my bike in the back of the little truck & start tying it up like a stuffed pig. These guys were great. They did not ask for any dough. 'Ron' took me all the way to San Felipe to a bike shop. We figured it was bad gas. Found some dry gas & filled her up with hightest & I blasted on to Yuma. Lucky me.
Once again, thanks & hope for my girl Rox & I to be on the next ride to Baja with u all.
