Roger now you are the lucky one, it is snowing here and -2C.
Get out there for me a few times

Sinan that pipe is sounding good man, and nice to see an NX getting it on in some ruff stuff. That was entertaining, I like the part when you smack the skid plate and get all worried, hehe I know the feeling.

hope that helps, keep working on it
the tip about fuses and loose wires is golden,
I will add cleaning all the connections as well

Got it all back together, up and running great... this bike has been sitting for 15-16 years... Now it purrs. I can't believe how great it sounds . I did the K&N air filter upgrade as well.

Thank you everyone for all the help with my problems along the way

My son, somewhere on his solo trip, with both his parents waiting by the phone at home.

Efuentes I like your blog.
Best wishes to your son on his adventure.
It surely sounds like a really fun journey.
Next time lets find you a bike to ride with him.

Where did your NX250 take you today?

To the Colorado river just south of Hoover Dam, southern Nevada!

A few miles into the trail:

A few more:

The end of the road, no seriously that's a cliff 20 feet ahead:

A panoramic view from right to left:

I was disappointed that the dam wasn't visible , it's right behind that shadowy ridge:

And my NX250 waiting to take me off into the sunset

This was my NX250's maiden voyage and I'd like to dedicate it to all those who are suffering from weather that makes it impossible to ride.

That is a beautiful area. Super pictures, I love the desert.
I bet you even made some dust. I haven't seen dust in months and months.
Kool stuff!

hey Roger I gotta correct that. I will edit the post.
Gotta love the internet world, things can get so confused.

Marley Ann is RacingWoody's lil' girl and she sure is pretty.
He introduced her to us a little earlier in the thread.
The baby I am holding in the photo, is my little boy and his name is David.

I was asking her (Marley Ann) if David had any boyfriend potential.
Just trying to be funny.
Woody is going to laugh his butt off when he reads this.

Hey guys, I am having a problem with the throttle seeming to get stuck open at 3500-4000 rpms. When it does get stuck, I can rev the throttle a time or two and it will drop back down to 1500. Also, when it is down at 1500 rmp and I rev it, it will sputter and the engine will almost die. Any ideas how I can diagnose what is causing this problem?
