Thumbs down

I'm really missing mine!! I took it to the mechanic for a valve adjustment, and turned out having more troubles than expected...

Didn't know about this shims system for the valves. Also when oil level was checked, half of it was gone, probably smoked, so had the piston and rings checked, and they were already wasted, so had to replace them (also cylinder in need for rectification)... once that is done, the mechanic would be able to tell the precise thickness for the shims, so I can buy them...

Of course, all this postponed all the fairing work I was doing..

Hopefully I'll have it back by the end of this loooooooooong month...

What did your NX do Today?

]Mine's an AX, but the frame number begins with NX.

Made our first GoPro video, In Cambodian evening traffic.

1. Camera angled a bit too low.

2. Not in night mode.

3. Will do a daylight rush hour one tomorrow plus this may look like an interesting commute, maybe skip a little bit where the streets are dark though

2nd attempt at a GoPro video.

This one is in daylight, same commute, same traffic and the camera angle is a bit better, still too low, however.

Aim that camera much higher and do it again! It's best to have the horizon just below the center of the screen.

I love how many bikes are over there. I'd bet that NX is a hot rod, too.

Are there any traffic laws over there?

It's like city single track.

Is it my imagination or are you going faster than most of the other traffic?
Or
Is this one of those “ Things are closer than they seem” situations ?

There is a traffic code. It's not terribly enforced.

Nominally, It's right hand drive, but depends. May of those strets are "supposed" to be one way.

City singletrack is fun:)

Sometimes I am faster tha traffic around me, sometimes not. Depends on conditions.

I thought some one was gonna run into some one else a few times there. It kind of reminds me of PV mexico or the DR a little bit.Me Id get out of the city and find me some single track on the outskirts.

Well 1st of all hi to all, iv been a lurker in this thread ever since i got my NX250 about 3 weeks ago and went over a lot of stuff on here and i must say this is a nice little thread you've got going here! so i finally decided to join the party.
i have a 88' NX250 all stock except for a 14T front sprocket i installed (im gonna be doing quite a bit of highway driving)

i am LOVING the bike so far but im looking into the suspention because i am also kind of a hard core offroader (i have four mid 80s XRs)
i dont plan to make the NX a bike i can jump table tops with (that would be nice tough ) but some thing i can take to back country Baja (i live in Baja california) on woops and so at good speeds.

So after looking around here i went out and got myself a GSXR750 shock to mount on my NX

Most people who upgrade install a SV650 shock, it doesn't have a reservoir. I'm sure the GSXR shock is worlds better, but the reservoir takes up a lot of room. I think the only way to make it work would be to remove the air box and use a pod style filter. Give it a go!
