nope, not a GP1, not a GP-110 either..

It was cheap though...Just under $18...

I'll reveal the answer tonight...

But yes, the outer two tires ARE K270s...

look in the closeups, at the mid-shoulder lugs...compared to a K270...there's the only difference i can tell....
every OTHER lug is quite different from a K270...but the odd lugs are replicant of a K270...

OK, enough putting this off. Here are photos of the KN filter.

First thing is to use an old filter, and cut out the paper element. Then take the KN and fit it into the old plastic filter frame. Simple as that. It's a little long so it may bow in the middle. I might end up glueing the filter into the frame. There are also two little plastic tabs that stick out on the inside of the frame that need to be trimmed down.

I still need to correct my idle, lube my cables, etc. so I won't have a performance review for a while. However, this KN filter is used on a 1000cc engine in a Moto Guzzi, so I don't see how there would be a problem running it on a 250cc engine.

I'm thinking about a small set of saddlebags to put on the NX. How much weight can safely be put on that little bitty rear frame?

I wouldnt worry about the weight of the saddle bags , i had a passenger sitting pretty far back , halfway off of the seat , absolutley no problems. Not to mention that i have lifted the bike off of the ground by grabbing right underneath the luggage rack.

That makes me feel a little better. I'm planning on fabricating a rear rack and some standoffs for a smaller set of saddlebags.
