I enjoyed your illustrations of the XL 250 Degree...I see you have placed alot of work into it, and it's looking quite nice.
Way to go!

The index for this thread is Page #1, post #1... where a service manual in PDF form is downloadable for those who have Adobe Acrobat or other PDF reader...
I sent this to you in PM, anyways, here it is again...

Shinko 244 Golden Boy DOT dualsport tire 19" x 2.75 $17.86

However, don't use the 3.00x16" on your rear tire, it's WAY too small. Sorry. Unless, you switch to the 17" XL rim, you only have about 4 models of tire to choose from.

my starter and gear was lost by the repair shop and since my bike does'nt have a kick starter on it i'am having a hard time jumpstarting the unit every time i'll use it.

guys do you know other bikes that used the same starter aside from AX-1 and NX-1 since these bikes is very rare in my place. thanks alot.

from this:

with a little of this:
wallahhh:
I think both the Rebel, Nighthawk, and all the CRFs use the same starter as the NX250...

Anyways, the original Honda part number is 31200-Kw3-018 for an NX250 starter..

I know this thread is focused on the NX250, but I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with the NX650. I'm having a difficult time finding an air filter for the one I'm trying to get ready to sell, all I've found so far is the K&N filter and I'm trying to avoid spending that much on one.

from this:

I know you've changed it, but still the red headpipe looks really good...

On the bump start, have you checked your valve clearances? When the valve clearances get out of specification, the bike becomes a hesistant starter..

There is a NX starter on www.Ebay.com
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HONDA...spagenameZWDVW

described as
"THIS IS A USED STARTER FROM A 1990 HONDA NX250 MOTORCYCLE. ITS IN WORKING CONDITION. IT HAS SOME SMALL CHIPS IN THE GEAR TEETH AS SEEN IN CLOSE UP PHOTO, EMAIL WITH ANY QUESTIONS."

It's $0.99 US dollars.

sir the head pipe are originals, i colored it with high temp spray paint
and it's cool since if the engine worked hard it turns to black and grey then goes back to red.
