spotted on Good Sundie

Spotted on Good Sunday about 10.30 am a 12GS silver with matching helmets, "parked" owner's doing some hiking on Cadell rd between Uki and Tyalgum..no hiding in this neck of the woods...

I was down Mur'bah way about then on Sunday. Saw a couple of bikes going the other way. A Dakar edition 990 and a Dommie. No GS tho' or any other "bushwalkers"

Hey Griffo, that peak (whats it's name) is the one to the west of Mt warning looks over the whole tweed valley isn't it?. You have to walk to the tip, but where was the pic taken from??

The PINNACLE...used to live below it. Did'nt have time to check wether they've fenced it off or not on my last ride on the border ranges loop a fortnight ago but its a long freefall if you don't walk the rock right so kinda understandable....still backpackers can't read and men still can't spell

not as far as you, (mid north coast) but pass by that neck of the woods over easter, and found that neat little track when, my male navagation system was a liitle disorientated.

No not Butlers but not far- I was on South Pumpenbill Rd for a year.. used to hike up the pinnacle from the front face-quicker than going all the way around through Uki, Kungher and to Barkers Vale....now i am on the other side of the ring of Wollumbin (Mt. Warning) on the wettest side...clay slides my specialty

i note you say you are deaf - is it a recent thing?

just kind of wondering where my hearing is going to take me - i've swiimers ear, the bone is pretty much stuck in place in the middle er and i've got nerve deafness to go with it all.

last ent i saw (about 8 years ago) said he could fix the outer and middle but only so he could fit me with a hearing aid, basically there wasn't a whole lot he could do that was much more than stick a bandaid on it.

i sort of cope mostly - makes it hard at times esp when people get on my (worst) left side. has an upside - screaming babies and wife don't bother me one iota...

mind you noone's suggested cochlear so maybe i'm relatively ok in the hearing stakes. has the meningitis side-effect been sorted?
