Nice colorfull shots HondaV. THat's a great camera you have

Hello Inmates. Last weekend me and my daughter Sunshine went out on a 3 day trip with some other riders to the Mountain Province but this time, I did not use my Adventure bike. It was an easy and comfortable riding on my Skywave 650 (a.k.a) Burgman 650.

At dawn before sunlight me and Shine took off for the meeting place....

Another rider on a Honda Dominator 650, Major Domingo of the Philippine Army, joined us for a short leg of the trip...

Then the rest of the riders arrived and we headed to the first gas stop along the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX). Since this was a gas station, many riders (buddies of mine too) where there too for their dirrent ride to their track day in Clark International Raceway.....

As much as we wanted to spend time together at the gas station, each groupd had their own agenda. We continued on to the end of the NLEX and entered the next expressway SCTEX.....

When we reached Zaragoza town in Nueva Ecija, the group took breakfast in a restaurant ....

continued.....

Att Herc and Rackerman

Good pics Herc , the DR big 750 is in good condition , there is not many of those bikes around and nice to see the Honda Dommi as well . My old DR is my favorite bike . I will post a pic and show you it .

Rackerman do you know CJ from Tok Alaska , he is coming here mid May and staying 3 weeks . I rode all over Yukon and Alaska with him . North and South Canal roads , Deadhorse and every where in between . By the way Rackerman , are you a Fukengruver .

Yup. I agree on the DR750 Big and Dominator, they are both in great condition.

The ride continues on from Nueva Ecija to Nueva Vizcaya. On the way to Dalton Pass, the weather turn from hot and Sunny to cold and rainy....

Thanks Terry! Yes sir, we do lock good on those matching gears.

Sunshine had a great time too. It was her firstime on the Burgman going up. Although she has been riding that route with me on the KTM640 ADV and V-strom already.

To Continue.....

Finally we 3 riders stopped in a resto at Dalton Pass to warm up and wait for the rest of the riders to arrive.

While waiting, we had Starbucks coffee too...

After sometime, the rest of them arrived....

Since it was almost lunchtime. I suggested to have early lunch before we continued on along Santa Fe, Nueva Vizkaya to Bagabag, N.V......

And the fuel stop at Total Gas station in Bagabag, N. V. before entering the province of Ifugao.....

Hondav2,

No, I don't think I've met CJ, unless he is someone I met briefly at Dawson City for D2D a couple of years ago.

Fukengruver??? Is that a German swear word that you're calling me??? My rides are a DR 650 and a WeeStrom so I usually just ride past those proud BMW riders with their seized-up final drives (after asking if they want help, of course)!

Actually, summers are too busy to do nearly enough riding around Alaska or Canada, though I might try for Dawson City again this June.

Enjoying your added pics, Toddy! Please tell CJ he's welcome to take the ferry over to Cordova to meet up for a little tour around the few roads we have to ride on here.

Here is my DR at Bonnerville Speed Week 2005 . I clocked up 27,000 miles on that ride over 4 months .

After wearing out 2 sets soft luggage I adapted Givi mounts and hard luggage .

I have been to 2 x D2Ds , last time there in 09 I used one of Barbs Elephants. Here is me with the clutch out of it at Tok in CJ workshop.

Nice big tank you have there at the DR! That bike can go miles and miles away!

And we continued riding on. The Burgman was so comfortable that my daughter can multi task along the way....

Then the rain started to pour again......

Wicked Send some of that rain to Bantayan Herc

Its very dry at Bantayan Herc , only one shower of rain in 2 months . Yes the big tank ( 20 litres ) is so good . Will do 230miles on a tank . best I had was 320 miles running mostly 3rd and 4th gear at 30 - 40 mph on North Canal Road in the Yukon . When reserve runs out I lay bike down on left side to get fuel from other side of tank , blow into tank vent hose to pressurise tank and fill carby , I can do this twice and go another 15 miles .

Wicked Ticao Island Masbate

On a recent trip from Bantayan to Biri Northern Samar we went the long way. It was a midnight start On Ferry from Hagnaya Cebu to Cayawan on Masbate arriving at 5am. Van to Masbate City , Pump boat to Lagundi on Ticao Island . The truck motor was started by 2 strong boys with a big rope and I had to get out of my seat so they could put the truck gear box into reverse then forward gear. We hired a motorbike and rider to take us to San Fernando and just missed the Pump boat to Bulan on Luzon so I took these pics around the market .

San Fernando Ticao Island Masbate

We were lucky and sat with the skipper in the new wheel house complete with Suzuki steering wheel on boat to Bulan

I loved the color coded wiring

The rains were very surpringly strong in the mountains. Very cold too, from hot weather to .......

We had to cut the trip short and settle at Banue, ifugao. There is another 48kms to Sagada, but I had to consider the safety and the the rider's comfort.

We wnded up staying in my favorite place in Banaue....the last Vegas Inn!!!
