TPC and Tire Repair kits....are they compatible???

Hello All,

I have a GS Adv and it is equipped with TPC (Tire Pressure Control) sensors. Today I hit something in the road that punctured my rear tire and thanks to these sensors I was informed immediately of the pressure loss and was able to pull over.

My question to you all is as follows, has anybody used a tire repair kit/slime in their tires with these sensors installed. I know you are not supposed to but I'm sure someone somewhere has done it in an emergency situation...

I was just wondering what type of consequences this may bring...can i run with Slime????

I used to run with Slime in my tires on my enduro and it always saved my ass...

plug kit...slime doesn't always work, and it may plug up the sensor enough to require replacement. What does the owner's manual say about using sealants?
