something must be wrong with yours. My fender is very turgid.

There's one you don't hear often in polite conversation.

Could it be that you have subframe issue or that the fender isn't properly attached. On my 09 it's pretty sturdy.

I have a tool bag mounted on mine from the back edge of the seat and it's about 10" long. Fender is still pretty solid with it on.

So I installed my DT cam tensioner today, and it sounds better by far, but just to be sure ^^ is this good? Waiting for my T-stat bypass kit, rad guards, among other things to come this week so I can do it all at once and only fill the bike up once but I want to make sure my cam chain is good to go.

Sounds good to me...I went with the DJH manual version I find this bike makes more noise then others especially with
a metal skid plate....ride it, love it

I'm not the original owner of the bike and it's been that way since I got it. Any way someone could take a picture of their underfender for me?

Why don't you post a picture of yours to show us what's wrong?

5 minutes into the actual install I took a three hour break to fish out the circlip that slipped past the paper towels I stuffed in there to stop exactly that from happening.

This is what it looks like 3 hours later if you are wondering,

It popped right out and stuck in the cam chain rail. Good times!

Anyway, it started right up, but my valves are clattering a bunch. It's not right and I can't figure where I went wrong.

Is there a good guide that someone has a link to. Appreciate it!

Oh yeah, bike feels like it will be a rocket, only done a few heat cycles so far and a ride up the street at medium revs, it wants to rip!

I'm sure this is linked already but here it is again.

I still can't figure out what I'm doing wrong, seems to be my exact process...

My new "improved" keep the circlip out of the crankcase method, along with a few still stuffed in below this.

Well, for starters, your bike's upside down.
