That course is perfect for a plated MX 250 2stroke with heavy flywheel weight. Light is right!!!!!
That said, there is a video somewhere on youtube of a guy on a WR250R hauling ass on a MX track. Sick.

You're looking at it. Pick one up at Benny's. Stick it in a low oven and bend it to your spec

I am running ortliebs without racks and they have stood up to some of the nastier single track colorado has to offer along with more than a few get offs. Took me a ton of trial and error and a few modifications to get the strapping down method right but they cinch down pretty solid for soft bags.

Mostly been riding the KTM this summer, but I took the WRR out to stretch her legs last Sunday. 80 miles of fun, flowing two-track in the Black Hills.

He did not say he was hauling ass, he said there was a vid somewhere of someone else hauling ass on a WR250R.

I can't remember mine ever looking that spotless.

In terms of first mods to do, the first thing it needs is some mud.
Then you'll need to do the "hundred dollar hill" mod.

That's where you find a hill climb sufficiently difficult where failing results in the bike tumbling down the hill after you. If replacing the broken parts costs less than $100 then the hill wasn't large enough.
