Just installed my Leo Vince exhaust and have to say that Im not very happy right now. The cans are great, I love the sound and quality. The clamps are kind of cheesy. However the Y tube is where I have the problem. First they leak at the connection because thet dont make the flange big enough to accept the stock graphite gaskets. When I first statred the bike I could hear the leak so I tightened the clamp. Still leaking so I tightened a little more but to still no avail. So now they are crushed and still leaking. Second the mounts that are welded on the tubes were about 5mm off and not spaced properly. I had to bend the tabs apart so the would fit up. So needless to say I should have bought the Akros.

Want a can without cat but with baffle.

Thanks

Jim

With your problems I'd go directly to Leo Vince. I would assume with the fitment problems you're having they would make it right for you.

My apologizes to the memebers of this forum. The selling season for exhausts has taken my focus to dealerships, and away from this forum. Plase forgive me, I will be dropping by more often. If you would ever like to drop me a note, my email address is randy@leovinceusa.com .

If you haven't already contacted the office, I'm happy to help. What motorcycle did you install these mufflers on?

Just put a SBK on my GS 1200 last weekend and it had that 5 hole disk in the box too. Couldn't find anything in the instructions about it, but then my Italian isn't that good, did you get any info about the disk?
My only complaint with the system is I'm sure the GS's rear tires aint gonna be lasting as long

I have an Akropovic racing header on my KTM 640 Adventure. The accompanying can is obnoxiously loud and not NSFS compliant. Do you make a can for the 2002 640 Adventure? Is there a way to make it fit a 60mm header?

I'm specifically looking for a can that is NSFS compliant. That is, spark arrestor and 98 db (or whatever the limit is). I would prefer not to have to re-jet, so maximum exhaust flow would be good.

Well I got them re installed cussing and swearing the whole time. They still leak and now one of my clamps allen heads are stripped from tightening and losining and moving them.I have decl pop but they sure sound great. My right side is out farther then my left. I still think that my Y tube was made incorrectly.Im still not totally happy with these.
