I TOR with mine all the time.
When I have time !

Nice pictures by the way.
So the BMW badge is for the benefit of some Beemer riding friends. Can't resist yankin' their chains. Most people think its a Beemer at first glance anyway. Turns out to be a great conversation starter.
But this is what I'm really jonesing for:

Honda Motor Works :)

And I love all my "Ladies" :)

Thx for the compliments on the pics. It was a good time getting them.

Your posts were some of the first TOR posts I had read. You guys look like you have a ton of fun playing on the east coast. For some reason it doesn't seem to have caught on here in the west. Time will tell.

I'm pretty sure Vemin is okay with you getting your seat refinished :)

And to answer your question about the muffler:

It's really not very hard to do yourself with a good stapler.

As a professional seat guy I take umbrage to your characterization of my vocation as "not very hard with a good stapler"

fact is a shitty stapler works too!

luvermin

PS I did a 1200 mile twisty weekend trip to Utah (and maybe arizona and also maybe New Mexico I am 72% sure we were in new mexico and zero percent sure we went to arizona) with a super tenere, 2 bmw 800 adventure bikes and a wee and The Cack stuck tight throughout. We went through a snow storm on Grand Mesa and I was delighted with my weather protection

I thought about that.
Would I just get a piece of material or do they sell preformed covers?

And I have a good stapler and a vermin stapler as well!

Just buy some marine vinyl from a fabric store.
I didn't do a write up but here are pictures on a similar seat that was my first try at it.

GS1150 Seat
Thank you.
I have done boat seats before so this should be a lot easier then that.

By the way, that is a nice color on your PC.
And the seat looks great and the matching stripe is a nice touch.

I am fairly certain that I have never "done myself" with [any kind of] a stapler -

and it really doesn't sound like something I'd like to attempt!
