Excellent report and pics!!!

C'est marrant, j'ai un pote qui a eu recemment le meme probleme de perte d'huile du roulement de roue. Comme quoi ces cardants ne sont plus ce que c'etait! Une seule conversion possible: KTM!
Bon sinon il parait que BMW entretienne quand meme les nouveaux 'cardans sans entretient, graissé à vie', tous les 20 000 je crois...

@Le Dahu:
It's the seal.... They put a plastic cap upon the seal and with the dust and sand.....
Just need to change the seal or to remove from time to time the plastic cap to clean the seal.
Each bike has its own prob. yours, sadly, it's fuel consumption.

You are right about each bike having its own prob... no arguments about that!


Sorry if my comment appeared like some brand bashing exercise, but it wasn't.

Still, through some of my friends' experiences, I am convinced that the later generation paralever is more fragile than its predecessors.

And about the paralever, I'm really wondering why on earth the guys @ bmw worked so hard on a new one for the HP2 and didnt not keep it for the whole GS line !

Sympa j'ai presque tout lu , dommage de faire que de la route avec ta machine, ça va bien sur les pistes la grosse berta . Tout seul cela n'aurait pas était raisonnable.

Je viens de finir, la ville de savoie ou suisse c'est plutot Ifrane que Azrou.

Parcontre quelle misère pour le Ksar Sania, j'ay ai dormis en 98, le mari de Françoise était encore là on avait partagé un foie gras et un Loupiac, je savais qu'ils avaient souffert des inondations mais à ce point....

Je confirme bien que je parle d'Azerou et pas d'ifrane, mais il est possible que cette derniere soit encore plus typoée et que je l'ai pas remarqué..
Ouaip, triste pour le Ksar Sania et la famille qui le tiens, mais visblement elle en veut, elle y arrivera, probablement en plus petit, mais tout finira par se reconstruire...elle compte transformer sa piscine en salle de concert/"boite de nuit.."

J'aimerai que tu m'en dise un peu plus sur la piste que vous avez pris à Mhamid (village que je connais bien) vers foums zguid, car je compte la faire la prochaine fois: est elle roulante? y a t'il du sable? est elle pratiquable par quelqun qui n'a jamais fais d'enduro?????
