Collapsible gear bag..

Anyone know of good bags to carry my gear? I am going to rent a motorcycle in Milan and I need a decent bag for the flight to carry my gear. I need something collapsible that i can jam in one of the panniers.

How "collapsible" does it need to be?

You might consider a "Polar Cooler" which can do double-duty...as a carry-on bag for the flight over and then as a seat bag for while on-tour...if you're "not" riding 2 up.

No ties to the company...but they're offering a GREAT discount for the next couple of weeks and the gear is guaranteed for life.

It won't fold flat, though...

Ordering a few for myself / Christmas gifts this week....

I've never seen one in person, but always thought the Chase Harper looked handy:

At a bit over $70 I'd hope it's good stuff.

Why not a MC duffle bag that you can pack for the trip and then strap to the rear of the bike when there?

I have this Triumph 50L bag (not selling, just saying):

(I remember it being cheaper, though...)

There's the MoskoMoto 40L bag that converts to a backpack:

Lots of other options:

The few times I've flown abroad and rented a bike the rental agency would store luggage until I returned the bike. If you're packing riding gear, helmet, suit, boots and gloves you'll probably need 50L or more.

Just a thought.

Happened across this earlier. 40,70, and 90L sizes. Waterproof.

I use a bag that Osprey sells for checking backpacks. Holds my riding suit, boots, gloves, helmet, and a few miscellaneous items. The Osprey Airporter has a lockable zipper, sells for under $50 and is very compact when not being used.
