Missing KLR Left Shroud screen

Hello everyone.

I am hoping that someone may be able to help a newbie. I just purchased a used 05 KLR650. Spending some time cleaning up the last owners mess and noticed a few things I missed when I purchased it in a blizzard this winter.

Looks like he put it down on the left side, as the shroud on the drivers left has been jimmy-fixed as the inner tabs had busted and are held on with wire. What it is missing is the triangular screen insert. A call to the local dealer and I was told you have to buy the whole shroud....really?

I have been searching e-bay, but no real luck yet. I'm also north of the border which is also an issue to some sellers.

I am hoping that someone who replaced their shroud(s), or their tank, might have one lying around. I'll buy the whole shroud if it's the right colour...pink....er red

Please let me know if you may be able to assist. RIDE ON!

Go to anyone of the parts houses, randomly such as
http://www.kawasakipartsnation.com/o...l650-a19-parts
and tell us which part is the one damaged.

That will help us help you.

Thank You KLR650.net

Thanks go out to 303_650 from KLR650.net. He has generously donated two screen for me. Pay It Forward tenfold.

The part I was looking for does not have a Kawasaki number, only the whole shroud: SHROUD-ENGINE,LH,O.GREEN, 49089-1073-68, although the screen in the attached screenshot is what I was after.

Thanks to all who responded in my time of need!
